The topics will include: 1. Akosejaiye, birth and naming ceremony. 2. Imori, knowing the child's destiny. 3. OMOLUABI, raising the child with virtue and integrity. |
Each segment will include the appropriate Ifá chants, songs and stories. By the end of the workshop, participants will know:
1. The meaning of each ceremony. 2. The spiritual function of each ceremony. 3. The materials necessary to perform each ceremony. 4. The òrìsà associated with each ceremony. 5. Regional variations of each ceremony. 6. Minimum qualifications for performing each ceremony. 7. Dangers and consequences of not performing each ceremony. 8. Benefits of each ceremony. |
