"As the full moon is reborn every month and the sun is reborn everyday, so is the human soul reborn, again and again. And like the sun and the moon, whose duty it is to deliver upon their divine promise, so does each of us have a heavenly mission to fulfill. The mission was established in the time before time, when the souls of man assembled before Orunmila, begging to be relieved of their earthly obligations.

It was then that Orunmila told the people that they must continue the cycle of rebirth until they brought about the Good Condition.  And so it has been since that time. Each of us is reborn within our own family lineages to do one thing: balance heaven and earth. And while the task is daunting, look to the full moon for reassurance. Every great thing is accomplished bit by bit, one cycle at a time. This is what it means to live the medicine!"
