Orisa are divinities of the Yoruba pantheon. They facilitate spiritual unification through social & ecological consciousness and ACTION. Orisa Lifestyle Agreements (OLA) is a worldwide, hands-on campaign designed to create 16 generations of sustainable world culture. OLA16 reflects the collaborative efforts of the finest scientific, indigenous and activist minds in the world. From Nova Scotia, Canada to Tallahassee, Florida, to San Francisco, California, ordinary people are using the OLA16 approach to do extraordinary things to transform their communities into hubs of social justice, spiritual connectedness and ecological sustainability, with shared prosperity for all. To date, there are over 50,000 people actively practicing OLA16.
 
The Retreat
The full day OLA16 retreat weaves hands-on activities, Yoruba symbolism & mythology, and step-by-step methods of personal and collective change. OLA16 attracts bold, visionary people, committed to tangible community initiatives, aligned with the spiritual laws that govern the universe. 

Ideal for priests, devotees and spiritually-inclined people who are ready to BE THE CHANGE they wish to see in the world,  the OLA16 retreat is divided into two parts. The morning activities combine spiritual consciousness and sustainability knowledge to help you create a personal ritual that’s good for you, good for your wallet and good for the environment.  In the afternoon, we roll up our sleeves and plan a grassroots campaign to increase public awareness and practical solutions to problems facing our communities.  Inter-faith coalitions, community gardens, and mural projects are hallmarks of OLA16 campaigns.  We engage voices from inside and outside the Orisa community and, through their circles of influence, we will build spiritual community for real life.

Grassroots Organizing & Support
Think of this as the OLA16 Help Desk. Following the OLA16 Retreat, you are encouraged to participate in four weeks of hour-long conference calls. Each call will be organized around a theme that supports organizational benchmarks. Designed to facilitate peer-to-peer education and support, the calls will invite participants to troubleshoot common problems and celebrate our collective success with creating a powerful global movement to reclaim our future.
