Seek Wisdom Over All

"Ọgbọ́n kìí tán láyé ká wa lọ ọ̀run." Wisdom can't be so exhausted in the world that one will go to heaven in search of it. It means, be sensible in your pursuits and don't get carried away. Wisdom can be acquired. But it must be acquired in an intelligent way, practical way. Wisdom - as well as paradise - are best experienced here on earth. This is consistent with the teachings of Ifa, which remind us that the mission of humanity is to bring about the Good Condition. Not to be confused with the notion of heaven, as defined by the Abrahamic traditions, the Good Condition is the direct result of people working relentlessly to eliminate poverty, oppression, spiritual threats and every sort of imbalance.
