What struck me from the very beginning was how unapologetically Black they were. Of course, they were wearing expensive, European suits and spoke standard American English. But the tempo, flow and overall vibe was undeniably Black. Within an hour, I watched them raise about three million dollars!
People patronize and promote individuals, organizations and groups who they trust, like and admire. When you're not being true to yourself, people will sense it.
